Where is the ASOFRE being held?

The ASOFRE Meeting is being held at the Crown Conference Centre. The Crown Conference Centre is part of the Crown Promenade complex.

How do I get to the airport to the Crown Melbourne?

When you arrive from Melbourne Airport (also known as Tullamarine Airport), you have three options. You can catch a taxi from outside your terminal or request an Uber by following the signs outside your terminal to the pick up zones. You can also get the Skybus, which has a service called the Southbank Docklands Express that stops at Crown Melbourne.

Transport from the airport

A taxi rank is located as you walk out of the terminal.  A taxi fare will cost you approximately $60-80 and takes anywhere from 30-45 minutes depending on the time of day.

Crown features two car parks in Melbourne, with over 5,000 parking spaces as well as valet parking services, for your convenience.

The main conference session will be held on Level 2 in the Conference Hall.  Please take the escalators or lifts to Level 2 to the Conference Hall foyer. The additional meetings scheduled in the program will be held in meeting rooms will be located on Level 1 in M13, M14, M15 and M16.

Where are the sessions being held at the Crown Conference Centre?

The Registration Desk will be located on Level 2 in the Foyer outside of the Conference Hall and will open at the following times during the meeting:

Friday 29th March 2019          0730 – 1730
Saturday 30th March 2019     0815 – 1730
Sunday 31st March 2019 0745 - 1200 - The Registration Desk for this day will be located outside the room 
on Level 1, Meeting Room 12 & 13.

Where is the ASOFRE Registration Desk located?

The Speaker Preparation Room is located at the back of the main conference hall. All speakers are required to preload their presentations in advance of the session.

What will the weather be like?

For all conference sessions the dress is smart casual. The Conference Dinner will be slightly dressier.

What is the dress code for the Meeting?

Yes, delegates have access to complimentary WIFI for the duration of the conference in the Crown Conference Centre.  


Will there be WIFI?

Each delegate will also receive a name badge upon arrival.  The name badge is your official pass and must be worn to entry all sessions and to social functions.

Will I get a Name Badge?

Lunches and tea breaks are located in the foyer outside the Conference Hall.

Where is Lunch?

All catering venues have been advised of any special diet preferences you have indicated on your registration form. Please identify yourself to the catering or registration desk staff to locate your meal.

What if I have a special dietary requirement?

Mobile Phones
As a courtesy to other delegates, please ensure that all mobile phones are turned to off or on silent mode during all presentations and social functions.

Photographs, Videos, Recording of Sessions
Delegates are not permitted to use any type of camera or recording device at any of the sessions unless written permission has been obtained from the relevant speaker.
